Pitch.

Ideas For the Narrative
My overall film is about a Mother who has won a substantial amount of money and then a few days later her little girl goes missing.
She gets ransom notes asking for the money in return for her daughter.
The film goes through what the divorced parents of the little girl are going through, and throughout the film there are clips of the little girl being kidnapped and were she is now. The twist in the film is that the kidnapper turns out to be her father . Her father wanted the ,omey and knew there was no way he could get it because of the previous break-up between him and his wife. The ex-husband and wife get closer through out their daughters disappearance, but his life falls apart as he becomes a killer.

Conventions of the Genre
Ideas in my film that relate to the conventions os the genre are, the events causing suspense, being the ransom note, the kidnap and mind games played by the father, and the revealing clue of the kidnapper.

Creative Ideas
My creative idea for filming are, using desolate locations to film in to create an image of realism. Using a little girl to act so viewers get emotionally involved, and using props such as a glove which ill be a big clue in the kidnapping, other props are a ransom note and a car.

Justification
My film will succeed at the box office because it conforms to the conventions of successful thriller films, events in my film relate to events and ideas in other successful thriller films. Thrillers have been known to be successful at the box office. An example of a successful thriller Film is Se7en, which won a top box office award and 17 other awards.
